One of the most amazing things I remember about the first few of these original vinyl singles when we first bought them in late Summer 1980, is the etching in the 'inner groove.'
It's one of those things that you happened upon as you were putting the record on the turntable, it would catch your eye in the sun.
The truly cool thing is that at least the first of the etchings were put into the vinyl before John was assassinated.
