I wanna thank ... Cherd, you are the best, coolest, smartest, most bad ass manager ever, we have come a long way together. I can happily say you are the only one who has been with me from the start. You still believe in me even when things don’t go the way we planned. Thank you for making me work hard & teaching me so much, for helping me get to experience so many amazing opportunities, travel the world & record/write songs with people I have always dreamed of. Let’s keep going, we’re in this together.

My mom & dad, you are the most supportive parents & mean more than the world to me. You have helped me get where I am today. Thank you for putting me in vocal lessons, piano lessons, guitar lessons, getting me recording in the studio at age 15, helping me put a band together, finding me my manager, teaching me how important songwriting is, how to stay myself in this crazy business, & for loving me everyday even when I’m being a brat. Dad, I love how you produce music with such passion, enthusiasm & never look at it as work, only play! Mom, your great ideas, support, encouragement & helpful suggestions involving anything having to do with my records are so important to me! I couldn’t do any of this without you both.

Jus, I still can’t believe that we fell I love & became best friends. Isn’t it amazing that we also get to write songs together, sing together, play music together & travel the world together? You are a part of my life that I always hope for but never expected to have so soon. I can honestly say you have helped me grow so much as an artist, as a young woman & as a person. I wrote most of these songs for your & about you. For better or for worse. Thank you for giving me real life & love to write about.

Erika (shmoopy), you are so many things to me, on tour and at home. You are an incredible assistant who I can trust with everything you do and anything I tell you in confidence. You are brutally honest with me which I really appreciate yet you know when I’m down and how to cheer me up. You are also my amazing makeup artist/stylist! But what I love most is that you are now one of my closest friends & I feel lucky to have you in my life.

The amazing writers that helped me create these songs: Jus, Jay, Rick, Toby, Kara, Rashid (Common), Nathan. My creative producers: Dad, Greg, Toby, Ryan, John, Nathan. All the musicians who played so beautifully on this record. All the engineers who pieced this record together (Ghian thanks for everything you contribute, I love your honesty & creative suggestions) & the mixers who evened us all out: Michael, Neal & Manny.

My beautiful sisters Morgs & my long time best friends, Bre, Liese, Nate, Penny, Jazz, Makana, Brooke, Craig. Thank you all for your  help in decision making on songs & pictures & for always encouraging me. All my Leineke & Caillat family members that support me so much! Grandparents, cousin, aunties, uncles. All my family friends, the ones in Hawaii, Cali & Washington. Mikal for letting us record at your beautiful new studio, Plummy, Roxy, Jackson, Bene, Ashby.

Mark Hartley, Heather Manheim, John Frankenheimer, Brad Shenfeld, Terry Doty, Gary Haber, Gus Briceno, David Levine, Brian Ahern, Todd Jacobs, Diana Baron, Everett Lybolt, Anthony Franco, Torsten Witte, Barbara Cane & everyone at BMI, Marty Bandier & Kathleen Carey at Sony ATV.

Avery & Janet, Monte & Angelina, Joel & Stephanie, David & Bradi, Toby & Aimee, Mike, Sandra, Trina, Patch, Kim, Frank, Michelle, Jay Cameo, Wayne, Lori, Leah, Kirk, Brett, Wendy. Everyone at Uni Republic for all your continued hard work & support. You are such an incredible label! Every single person I names on this record has become like family to me & I am so honored to get to work with all of you doing what we love.

By band & crew: Jus, Will, Craig, Lane, Josh, Denosh, Andy, Daniel, James, Jackie, Diony.

My MD Cheche & my stage coach Nancy, you both have helped me grow so much & are so much fun to work with.

Josh, Christianne & Montana for the adventurous Santa Barbara photo shoot!

To all my incredible listeners & fans for buying my music, passing along my music to friends and family, coming to my shows & sharing your stories with me when you relate to my songs & when they help you through the ups & downs of life. Thank you all forever and ever.

All of you for me is about KNOWING yourself and being COMFORTABLE with people seeing YOU the way YOU are. Being CONFIDENT in your beliefs, with no hesitations about BEING YOU. Having NO SECRETS. Living HONESLTY in every situation. Being completely PRESENT, giving full ATTENTION & FOCUS to the ones you are with. Making mistakes, taking RESPONSIBILITY for them & LEARNING from them. TRUSTING your gut instincts, they are always right. Having RESPECT for others & yourself. For me, this is a recent REALIZATION & a LIFETIME resolution. I want ALL of YOU & promise to give you ALL of ME. – CC
