Of all the groups to have emerged in America in the middle sixties, Buffalo Springfield will be remembered as one of the most creative and exciting.  The very power of the individual writing and performing talents of the members was also the reason for the breakup of the original group.  It was comprised of Steve Stills, Neil Young, Richie Furay, Dewey Martin and Bruce Palmer, later replaced by Jim Messina.  More will be heard from all of them.  Contained herein are some of the outstanding recordings of the original formation.  All of us at Atco are honored and proud to have been associated with them
