Hello again D.J. This record is dedicated to the last of the independent and open format ones of yr kind – it was recorded in Portland in Mike Cajkendall’s attic wherein the Old Joe Clarks played bass + percussion +  whistled & Jim James (ctsy. RCA/ATO) sang + strummed (2 & 5) except the songs that were recorded at Jackpot! by Larry Crane wherein Jordan Hudson drummed (4 & 7) & except songs 8 & 16 – those were recorded at Type Foundry! by Adam Selzer wherein Rachel Blumberg drummed and except songs 6 & 13 which were recorded and bassed by Nick Luca down at Wavelab! wherein John Parish drummed & Howe Gelb piano-ed - & then after all that Vic Chesnutt + Jenny Lewis sang on #8 (thanks to Larry & Carmen Rizzo) … this record was mixed by Mike except Larry mixed #7 & Selzer did #8 & 16 – everything else keyed, strummable or singalbe was me except special cameos by Paul Brainard (Steel on 9),  P. Casals & the Casters – I sampled some lyric from Howe Gelb’s “Wolfie” on 6 & some melody from George Harrison (R.I.P) on 11. The art you see was created by John King, Photographed by Zak Riles & Assisted by Rob Jones. Thank you. Thank you artists + contributors + friends, family + supporters + mostly God + community radio power everywhere
